It is with great pleasure that our team welcomes you to Lone Star Trapeze Academy, home of flying trapeze in the Bryan-College Station area. We invite you to try the great high flying circus act first invented by Jules Léotard in 1859.

Lone Star Trapeze Academy is dedicated to providing a fun and safe environment to learn trapeze with the friendliest and most exciting team in Texas.  It doesn’t matter if you have never tried trapeze before, Lone Star Trapeze Academy caters for everyone from the smallest person of 6 years old to the retired linebackers. Experience is not necessary! The highly experienced team is here to walk you through the whole process and with more than 25 years experience between them there is lots of fun to be had.

Chad Davis

Chad was a competitive gymnast for 10 years, which helped set him up for a career as a trapeze artist. Always known in his younger years for climbing on and jumping off of everything, he has found a constructive way to let it out and keep his mom’s mind at ease by joining the circus. With a nickname like the “Flying Squirrel”, he is an entertainer through and through. Oh, and please don’t feed the squirrels!

Rhys Challicombe

Rhys was forever destined to fly through the air with the greatest of ease, as a child he climbed on everything, and never fell. Now after 12 years of flying trapeze and gymnastics is better in the air than walking on the ground. After traveling all around has found a home in the Brazos Valley.

Stacy Majors

Being a local girl who graduated from A&M Consolidated High School ’03, she epitomizes the phrase of “running away with the circus” because it is 100% true in her case. After moving to Australia for a year and starting a new adventure with Club Med , she got sucked into the circus. Four years later, here we are back in her local stomping ground spreading the word about trapeze and circus arts!
